Welcome to life here in Kailua Kona, Hawai'i, MaryAnn

Aloha...
It's a Great Day in Paradise!

I have been working on a special project lately... Me!  Since moving in the Big Island of Hawai'i, the Lord has been doing great things in my life!  I have grown much closer to my Father in Heaven and He has shown me His magnificent Love for me.  Last year around September I started to have stomach issues.  I didn't do anything about it until January, when I asked Taimane to pray for me. A word of knowledge came to her and she said "...check out your gallbladder and take the steps needed" ... and so I did!

The Lord quickly gave me "the correct" information and the direction He wanted me to go with, for healing.  Mid January I set out on my journey to cleanse my gallbladder and Get Healthy!  In March I noticed that all my clothes were getting loose, so I got on a scale and found I was 14 pounds lighter - yeah!

The benefits to eating healthy! are increasing everyday:

Decreased allergy symptom's
Feeling so much better - in many areas of my life
Eating Healthy! everyday and LOVING vegetables - go figure!

After a few people asked me for this information, I decided to take the time and write out what I am doing.  I have also included a few things I have learned in the process and things I have known for a long time (just weren't doing)... I really don't know why it has taken me this long in my life to put into action the good things I have known - oh well!  Moving forward!

RileyAtCoffeeShack.JPGThis is Riley...

She is sweetness. Some places here in Kona are mostly outdoors, so we get to take her in with us.  She is such a good girl, everyone enjoys her. She is waiting for her lunch, we are at The Coffee Shack.
It is located above Napoopoo Road with a great view of that valley and ocean. The Coffee Shack bakes a mouth watering assortment of breads including Luau Bread with pineapple and other goodness. Yum! and of course the coffee is amazing... my fav is a large white mocha ;)

These are two of my best friends here on the Big Island. On the left is Linda, she moved here to Kona because God lead her here - go figure! On the right is Muriel, she moved here within the last year and is a very precious woman.  What a blessing to have such great women of God as my friends!

We are having a great time here in Hawaii.

"...You have not seen your identity reflect back to you. I am causing a river to cause a reflection to come through you that you have not seen.  Watch for the identity of my people - they are changing with a different identity as they cross into their future. Remove that which is not reflecting me, saith the Lord."

ShoppingAtAliiGardensMarketplaceOut and About Kona...

There are so many wonderful things to do here in Kailua Kona, Hawai'i.
The Ali'i Gardens Marketplace  is a great shopping experience. As you meandor through the cluster of small huts along the winding paths it is easy to enjoy the unique tropical ambiance. You'll find watercolor art in cards and wall hangings, jewelry, fragrant soaps that you can take home and enjoy. In the picture I am picking out a handmade flower for my hair. They also have great sandals, gotta have comfort for your daytime adventures.  Click on the link for a map and more info.

HonoLuluKonaBeach

This is sweet Honu Lulu, she is a Honu on one the the Kona beaches. This beach is more secluded than some of them, we have been on the hunt for wonderful places to enjoy the ocean and have found a few very special ones.  This is in August 2009.

AvocadoInKonaHawaii.JPG

The Avocados in Hawaii are large but not all this large! Look how small my hand is next to it, that was a good dinner avocado! We love all the fruit and veggies here... papaya, mangos, peppers, and so much more... It's amazing when you drive on the upper highway to Old Mamalahoa Hwy. leading to the little town of Holualoa.  Coffee growers, farmers, and flowers abound.  You know you are driving in paradise when on any given day you drive over flowers that have fallen on the road or an Avocado is road kill... it's awesome!  Mahalo Jesus for your wonderful creation of the Big Island of Hawaii.

NaturesUmbrellaInKona.JPG

This unusual tree top is just the size of a big umbrella and located on my favorite beach.  Since I seem to burn easily even with sunblock lotion, I love this tree.

Aloha Tree!
