My Moving... Experience - Page 9

Off  Off  and  Away...in our beautiful balloon...

The day had come and we were ready...? ummm...well, we had no choice! With airline tickets purchased we were going, "ready or not, here we go".  With random stuff still in our master bedroom and bath and things left for Jason to use in the Kitchen, ohhh and a few things not totally boxed up properly for storage..... we left...another trust moment in action, with full trust that the Lord would help Jason to finish up the details and lease the house for us -  because - we were on our way.

When we got to the Sacramento Airport we were a sight. There were three of us with the maximum, ummm, well.....maximum amount of stuff going with us. We took advantage of the 62" linear measurement on a check-in box, so each of us packed two 62" linear boxes - each... yaa that's six large boxes, along with carry-on roller suitcases - each, and a tote - each - and a camera, two laptops, and two purses, ummm I don't think I forgot anything...Welllll, we tried! We had to each put in a large plastic bag one item, and they charged us $100 more...But that was OK, because they somehow did not weigh our six large boxes? There was so much commotion that I forgot all about the fact that they could charge us extra for overweight boxes, so thank you Lord! for helping them to forget too!
Laughing PRAISE THE LORD!!! The Lord knew how much extra that could cost, what a great miracle.

We made it - a good reason to smile:)

As much stuff as we could bring! Everything made it safe and sound.

  • I am thankful for Lord Jesus blessing and care, taking notice to each detail that I was not able to do on my own.
  • I am thankful for God, who put it all together. He took His wisdom and timing, turned everything into a blessing and used it all for His glory.
  • I am thankful for Holy Spirit, always! You moved in me and through me in such a way that brought me joy in tasks and great hope for the future. I am in awe.

There is a song I sing, there is a prayer I pray, there is a thought I think...but none are greater than you God. I lift up my hands, I move my two feet, in praise to you Oh Lord. I will praise you, I willl praise you, for you are my everything.

Little did I know that we were entering "God-Camp 777", tailor made for Jim and designed especially for MaryAnn.

A servants heart is sometimes bruised...but never let it 'get the best of you'...God works in mysterious ways !!!

Growth means change and change involves risk,
stepping from the known to the unknown.
