We were finally here! Jim was doing very well at his new job and I was getting unpacked and looking forward to decorating.
One of our first outings together was visiting Kailua Beach. One year while we were there it was voted "the best beach in America" and we could see why. Riley, Jim and I would walk and walk, soaking in the atmosphere. I took a lot of pictures, oh snap!
My visits to heaven became further apart. My relationship with Jesus became stronger and better than ever. Some nights I could still hear the angels sing. It was a wonderful way to fall asleep.
We were finally settled into Kailua. What an awesome town. So fun and artsy. Even the walls of retail stores were tiled in Honu’s swimming. Another is Palm Trees by the ocean and more. My favorite art is the Greenery Wall, where live Ferns, hanging Ivy and other such beautiful plants live and thrive. That is outside the Whole Foods Market, Kailua, HI 96734. Kailua Town, a very special place.
There was one last visit with Jesus...
I laid down, once again, wanting to see Jesus... “meet me at Kailua Beach”... oh YES!!!
There we were! The sun was shining and I was so excited to see Him. My precious friend and Savior. “I want to teach you how to walk on water” He said. OH! ok! I do not know how to swim, so that seemed like a really good idea.
Looking back I have to smile and think “Jesus loves to talk in parables, walk on the water through life, right? Parable or not, I did walk on water while holding His hand. Let’s just say “I will never let go of His hand!”
Then suddenly He picked me up and flew around over the water and the beautiful beach. Wow! That was awesome! When His feet landed on the sand He did not let go, but continued to hold me and walk down the beach.
When He did lower me and my feet touched the sand, he looked at me and said so lovingly
“I Am always with you”.
and He flew off.
After a moment I looked around,
His footprints in the sand!
That was it. That season of spending time with Jesus in that way was concluded.
During my nine years in Kailua, I had some amazing times at Kailua Beach. Some were just fab fun, some were full of deep meaning and thoughtfulness. some were healing. We lived there for over nine years.
I am forever grateful my Jesus.
I love you, my best friend forever!
